Latest misleading headline in the Washington Times

In today's Washington Times (aka the "Moonie Times"), there is a headline that reads "Iraq war funding in limbo on Hill". You can see it here. This is yet another instance of the conservative rag furthering a message meant to mislead the American people.

Let me be clear. The Democratic Congress has passed legislation funding the troops. There is nothing in limbo on the Hill.

The decision on funding the troops now rests with President Bush. If he vetoes the Iraq Accountability Act, he will have unilaterally cut off funding for the troops. Period.
